Track and Field Wraps Up First Day at Sun Belt Championships

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – Three Georgia Southern Eagles finished in the top-10 on the first day of the Sun Belt Conference Indoor Championships.
Asha Stegall qualified for the 400m dash finals and placed fourth in the prelim with a new season best time of 56.60.
Kelsey Arnold tallied her third throw of over 17m this season in the weight throw on Monday. Arnold placed 9th with a distance of 17.33m.
Keyanna Harris also placed 9th in the high jump with a height of 1.66m.
Jordan Fordham posted a season best time of 25.10 in the 200m dash. Fordham finished 12th in the prelims.
