Eagle Softball to Host New Tournament This Weekend

Poor weather across the country opens Statesboro for six-team tournament

STATESBORO, GA. – Following the cancellation of NC State's tournament and numerous other compeitions around the country due to poor weather, Georgia Southern Softball has graciously opened its doors for the six-team Eagle Classic II this weekend at the friendly confines. Georgia Southern, UNC, NC State, Bradley, Eastern Kentucky, and Dayton will play 13 games over three days in the new tournament.

Admission is free to the tournament, and Georgia Southern's contests can be seen live on GS All-Access.

Friday, Feb. 20
10:30 a.m. – NC State vs. EKU
12:30 p.m. – Dayton vs. NC State
2:30 p.m. – UNC vs. Dayton
4:30 p.m. – EKU vs. Georgia Southern

Saturday, Feb. 21
10 a.m. – EKU vs. UNC
Noon – EKU vs. Bradley
2 p.m. – NC State vs. Dayton
4 p.m. – UNC vs. Georgia Southern
6 p.m. – Bradley vs. Georgia Southern

Sunday, Feb. 22
9:30 a.m. – Bradley vs. UNC
11:30 a.m. – NC Sate vs. EKU
1:30 p.m. – Dayton vs. Bradley
3:30 p.m. – Dayton vs. Georgia Southern
