STATESBORO, GA. – Georgia Southern Athletics honored 18 graduating student-athletes with a special stole ceremony Thursday in the Ted Smith Family Football Operations Center. Interim University President Dr. Jean Bartels was on hand to participate in the ceremony.

The Athletic Department handed out stoles that will be used to signify student-athletes at Friday's Georgia Southern University commencement ceremony at Hanner Fieldhouse.
