WHAT COACH BRIAN DUNLEAVY SAID"Tough result for us tonight. We didn't come out very strong but settled in a played really well in the last twenty of the first half. We continued to play well into the second and had more of the possession than App. We looked like the more likely (team) to score a goal-- we had a few dangerous corners and some good crosses. The finished product just wasn't there though. To App's credit, they kept themselves in the game. They took advantage of a rebound off the cross bar and finished it nicely."
NEXT UPThe Eagles travel to Texas State to play their final regular season game at 2 p.m. on Sunday.
