Flooding moves the race to Rock Hill, S.C.
STATESBORO, Ga. – Georgia Southern Cross Country runs its final meet of the regular season on Friday in the College of Charleston Classic. The meet, originally scheduled to be run in the Low Country, has been moved to Rock Hill, S.C. and the campus of Winthrop University.
Friday's meet closes a run of four-straight weekends of running for the Eagles who have improved each time out this season. Next up for the Eagles after Friday's run is the Sun Belt Championships on Nov. 1st in Atlanta.

Georgia Southern placed second among Division I teams and seventh overall in the Disney Cross Country Classic a week ago in Lake Buena Vista, Fla. Rebecca Parker led the Eagles home once again this season as she placed 29th in the 5K race around the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex.
NEXT UP
The Sun Belt Championships are next for the Eagles with the league Championship on the line. Also up for grabs is a point in the Georgia Southern – Georgia State rivalry series which is currently led by the Eagles, 1.5 to none.
