STATESBORO, Ga. – The Georgia Southern basketball teams return home to Hanner Fieldhouse Thursday Jan. 29, to open a five-game homestand against long-time rival Appalachian State.
The men's team regained the top spot in the Sun Belt after their 57-53 win over Louisiana-Monroe Saturday, and the Sun Belt Conference doubleheader is projected to be a sellout so now is the time to buy tickets! Students should plan to arrive early as seating may be limited inside Hanner Fieldhouse. The Eagles need everybody at the game to cheer and be the Sixth Man as they stake their claim within the Sun Belt Conference.

January 29 | Appalachian State | #TRUEBLUE OUT
• Women tip at 5 p.m., men tip at 7:30 p.m.
• #TrueBlue Out for both games - fans are encouraged to wear blue to the game to support the Eagles
• The first 500 Georgia Southern students get a free blue rally towel, courtesy of The Hamptons
• Border Pawtrol Frisbee Show will perform at halftime of both games
