Eagles Post Seven Top-10 Finishes in Bob Pollock Finale

CLEMSON, S.C. - Seven Eagles posted top-10 finishes as the Georgia Southern Track and Field team wrapped up the second day of competition at the Bob Pollock Invitational at the Clemson Indoor Track and Field Complex.
Twandalette Cotton posted two top-10 finishes and set a pair of personal bests in the process. Cotton finished fourth in the triple jump with a mark of 12.67m and also finished in the top-10 of the high jump (1.58m). Ashleigh Rasheed gave the Eagles two top-10 finishers in the triple jump after she posted a mark of 12.15m.
"We competed really well, and today was a good day for us. There was some top notch talent here, and I am proud of the way the girls went out and competed," said head coach Kelly Carter.
Keyanna Harris finished fourth in the high jump (1.68m) and narrowly missed her personal record.
"The girls have been doing the work at practice," said Carter about the Eagles' jumps program. "We have been working on technique and fundamentals. Georgia Southern has always had a strong tradition, and I am proud that the girls are caring it on."
Jordan Fordham finished sixth in the 200m dash (25.78), while Asha Stegall finished just outside the top-10 with a time of 26.45.
Kimberly Thomas finished sixth in the 400m dash with a time of 1:00.12, while Bailey Willett posted a top-10 finish in the 800m run (2:23.48).
