Ashleigh Rasheed and Camryn Coleman both posted personal best marks in the Long Jump, while Keyanna Harris finished fourth in the High Jump.
2013-14 Indoor Recap
Georgia Southern placed third in the 2014 Southern Conference Indoor Championships and was narrowly edged by Appalachian State, who finished second behind Western Carolina. The Eagles tallied Conference Championships in long jump, 800m and 4x400m relay. GSU also had nine players receive All-Conference honors and one receive All-Freshman honors. The Eagles also set three new school records during the campaign.
Seniors Ready for Final Season
The 2014-15 Track and Field season will be the final one for four seniors. Stephanne Henzler, Kimberly Thomas, Lauren Toomer and Jasmin Walker will all look to make the 2014-15 campaign a memorable one. Henzler competed for the Eagles in her first season last year and placed 10th at the SoCon Outdoor Championships in the hammer throw. Thomas is in her fourth year on the team and was a member of the SoCon Champion 4x400m Relay team, while Toomer set three personal bests last season.
