Coach Mark Byington Visited the Dinning Commons at Lunch Today

STATESBORO, Ga. – While students were eating and socializing in the dinning commons area, Coach Byington encouraged students to attend Thursday's game against UL Lafayette. Besides encouraging students to attend the basketball game, he handed out flyers to students and took pictures with them. This exciting doubleheader is more than just the "Semester Tip-Off." It's your chance to win incredible prizes and earn free giveaways.
There will be free giveaways and incredible prizes that students can win during both games. The free giveaways include popcorn and t-shirts courtesy of Verizon Wireless, Georgia Southern Athletics and The University Store while supplies last. Two lucky students in attendance will win $1,000 courtesy of the Georgia Lottery.
The men's team has won its last three and is tied for second in the Sun Belt standings, while UL Lafayette is in first place with a perfect 4-0 mark.
