Men's Tennis Notches a Win Against Chattanooga, 4-3

CHATTANOOGA, TN.- Georgia Southern men's tennis clinched the victory over Chattanooga yesterday afternoon, 4-3. The Eagles improve their record to 4-15 overall, and 3-4 in the SoCon.

The Eagles notched the doubles point with wins from Oliver Webb and Kyle Hoffman at the No. 1 spot, and Albert Codina Sala and Christian Kerrigan in the No. 3 position.

Nico DeGroof put the next point on the board by defeating Gino Delavalle in the No. 4 spot, 6-2, 6-4. At No. 5 singles, Albert Codina Sala took down John Peacey, 6-2, 6-2. Freshman Christian Kerrigan earned the deciding point for the Eagles, by beating Austin Boaz in the No. 6 spot, 6-0, 6-7 (10-12), 6-4.

The Eagles face Samford today, April 5th, in Birmingham, AL at 2pm.
