- Georgia Southern travels to Wofford for the final time in SoCon play on Thursday evening for the final regular season game between the Eagles and Terriers.
- Jelani Hewitt enters UNCG game as the No. 1 ranked scorer in the Southern Conference with 20.4 ppg and ranks 21st in scoring nationwide ... He scored 38 points earlier this season against Campbell and has twice been named SoCon Player of the Week ... He has scored in double figures 22 of 23 games this season and has gone over 20 points in scoring for 13 of the 23 games this year ... Hewitt became the 40th member of the 1,000 point club at GS with 18 against Wofford ... Hewitt now has 1,074 career points to rank 34th in scoring all-time at GS.
