MiMi DuBose, who is averaging 11.8 points a contest, hit four 3-pointers at App Jan. 27 to become the school's career leader in triples. DuBose scored 16 points at Chattanooga Jan. 4 to top the 1,000-point mark for her career. She played in her 100th career contest vs. Davidson Jan. 18.

¦ Lauren Kirby led Wofford with 20 points on 10-of-12 shooting from the floor and corralled 10 rebounds. Chanel Stokes scored 15 points, with 11 coming from the free-throw line, and Jordan Frazier posted 14 points and four steals.
¦ Knight scored seven points in a 13-0 GSU run late in the first half as the Eagles opened a 34-19 cushion. Kirby hit a jumper from the baseline just before time expired and Georgia Southern led 34-21 at the break.
¦ The Eagles stayed hot early in the second frame, scoring on their first four possessions and hitting six of their first nine shots from the field. Leading 47-33, Knight and Dowling hit consecutive triples as the Eagles scored 12 straight points to open a 26-point cushion, their largest of the game, with 12:11 to play.
¦ The margin stayed over 20 points until the last four minutes of the contest as the Terriers went on a 10-0 run to cut the lead to 72-62 on a Logan Morris jumper with 2:02 remaining. DuBose halted the run with a pair of free throws for GSU, and the advantage stayed in double digits until a Morris jumper made the score 77-68 with 13 seconds left. The Terriers fouled DuBose, who notched two more from the charity stripe to seal the win.
¦ Last meeting in Johnson Arena (2/23/13):
Meredyth Frye scored 17 points, and Georgia Southern held off a late run by Wofford to earn a 68-59 victory over the Terriers.
¦ Knight scored 24 points and added five rebounds to lead the Eagles, and
Alexis Sams scored 11. DuBose and
Danielle Spencer each scored eight, and Spencer corralled eight rebounds.
¦ Daniella Motley led Wofford with 22 points and 10 rebounds, and Rachel Brittenham scored 12. Morgan Wrightson netted nine points.
¦ The Eagles led by 16 points following a DuBose layup with 6:13 to go, but Wofford used a 12-2 run over 4:51 of game time to trim the margin to six points with 1:22 remaining. Knight was fouled on a fast-break layup attempt and hit a free throw to push the lead to seven, and the Eagle defense came away with two stops. Spencer and Sams each hit a pair from the free-throw line to seal the win.
¦ Frye also collected four rebounds and a team-high five assists on the afternoon.
¦ Georgia Southern matched its season high by shooting 45 percent from the floor while holding the Terriers to 35 percent. The Eagles connected on 7-of-16 3-pointers and made 15-of-19 from the charity stripe. GSU also had 15 assists on 23 made buckets.

She shares the record with Allie Rousseau, who notched eight triples vs. Appalachian State Feb. 8, 2000. The performance helped Dowling earn all-tournament honors at the FAU Thanksgiving Tournament.
¦ Dowling has played in every game this season and started the last 25. She tallied a career-high seven assists at Western Carolina Jan. 25.

Anna Claire Knight is 54 points away from 1,000 and five rebounds away from 400 for her career. She has two career double-doubles and recorded the first triple-double in program history and the 11th in the country this season with 16 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists at Samford Jan. 6.

Briana Jones, who sat out last season after transferring from James Madison, has four double-doubles in her first campaign playing for the Eagles. She has started 25 games.

Jordi Cook played in her 100th career game at Western Carolina Jan. 25. She was one of three Eagles to play in all 31 games in 2012-13.

Sierra Kirkland scored a career high 12 points at Appalachian State (1/27). The sophomore has played in every game in her career.
