Swimming and Diving Gears Up For CCSA Championships

KNOXVILLE, TN.- Georgia Southern swimming and diving is preparing to compete in the 2013-14 CCSA Championships starting February 19th-22nd. The Championships will be held at the University of Tennessee's Alan Jones Aquatic Center. The Eagles go into the Championship with a 9-3 overall record, and a conference record of 6-2.

"This is our most exciting part of the season," said head coach Nathan Kellogg. "We've had the best training and performances in competition that we've ever had leading up to the CCSA Championships. Our philosophy has been 'As a team, for the team' and that's exactly how we'll need to compete to be successful. We are ready and it will be fun to watch."

Last time out, the Eagles competed at the Davidson Duals where they faced Davidson, Howard, and Liberty. They came home with two wins over Davidson and Howard, but a loss to Liberty.
