Eagles Conclude Competition At Winter Nationals

Greensboro, Nc. – Three swimmers competed at the USA Winter Nationals at the Greensboro Aquatics Complex in Greensboro, North Carolina Thursday, Friday and Saturday. The event, an exclusive one, is by invite only based on specific cuts.
Elaina Lanson, Abigail Lavallin and Christina Moran each participated in the 4-day event.
"This was an incredible opportunity for our student-athletes to compete on the national stage," commented Head Coach Nate Kellogg. "I'm really proud of Elaina, Abbie and Christina for their effort and performances at Winter Nationals."
Lanson swam the 50 free Thursday with a time of 23.73 to finish Tied for 56th. In the 100 back, she managed a 119th place finish with a time of 58.64. Lavallin competed in the 100 breast and finished 90th with a time of 1:05.81. In the 100 back, Moran was 75th touching in 56.63. She also touched in 2:01.78 in the 200 back which was good enough for 67th.
The Eagles return to action on Saturday January 10th when they travel to Boiling Springs, North Carolina and take on Garder-Webb University.
