Favorite golf course: The course we played at nationals last year: LPGA International, is probably the nicest course I have ever played.
Favorite music: Country and artists from home (Mads Langer, Joey Moe, and Lucas Graham)
Favorite meal: My mom's home cooked food
Favorite golfer: Annika Sörenstam has probably always been one of the top women golfers that I have liked the most.
Why I chose Georgia Southern: "I chose Georgia Southern because it was the school with everything on my list. It has the practice facilities I have always dreamed on practicing at. School-wise it has the small-feel where you are put in smaller classes, I really like this part because I feel that I have a better chance of asking questions and interacting in the classroom."
Best advice I have ever received: don't think about the past shot, focus on the next one.
This past summer: Spent time with my friends and family at home. I also used the time on my golf game and my summer tournaments.
Person I would like to play a round of golf with: Annika Sörenstam, because she is a really big inspiration for me as a golfer.
"In building this team, we knew that it was important to bring in a few transfers that would add college experience and leadership to our inaugural class. I am very impressed with the efficient dedication that Iben utilizes in both her studies and golf game. Iben has had a stellar career at Western Texas College, and is a true leader by example in the classroom and on the golf course. I believe she will continue to learn and grow and make the very best of the opportunities, competition and facilities that we have at Georgia Southern."
