Why I chose Georgia Southern: "What's not to love about this place? When I first stepped on campus, it immediately felt like home to me. The people are so friendly and welcoming, and the campus is absolutely beautiful. Coach Kuhfeld is a great coach and I know that Georgia Southern is a place that will really help me learn and grow: academically, athletically, and personally."
Person I would most like to meet: Mother Theresa
Best advice I have ever received: I'm tremendously lucky to call Jamie Gilbert, co-author of Burn Your Goals, a mentor. He told me every day is an opportunity to learn and grow, and that has completely changed my outlook on life. If you wake up every morning, excited about what life is going to teach you that day, it's simply impossible to have a bad day because you're always getting better and learning!
After graduation, I want to: Work in golf or sports and travel!
What I did for fun this past summer: I spent a week playing golf, fishing and going to the beach on St. Simon's Island with my parents. It was one of the best vacations I've been on and I can't wait to go back someday!
Person I would like to play a round of golf with: Bubba Watson
"Taylor is joining us after competing for 2 seasons for Centenary College. We were able to meet early in the recruiting process, and her enthusiasm to learn is one of the many qualities I like most about Taylor! Her generosity of spirit and enthusiasm for being part of a team are great assets to us, as she is coming in as an upperclassman with college experience. I am excited to see her take advantage of the competition, facilities, and opportunities to grow that we have at Georgia Southern."
