Why I chose Georgia Southern: Georgia Southern exceeded all of my wants as a college golfer and student. I was very impressed with Coach Kuhfeld from the very 1st phone call and knew she was someone who wanted me make me a better golfer and person. My goal in college golf is to get better every year. I know that with Coach Kuhfeld and the wonderful golf facility that goal can be met. I also enjoyed the small town environment with a big college feel. I am very excited for these next four years and the opportunity to be a part of the first women's golf team at Georgia Southern.
Best Advice I have ever received: "As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another". Proverbs 27:17
After graduation I want to: I want to work my hardest throughout college to get myself to a place where I can try playing pro golf. After playing pro golf, I would enjoy being a teaching pro or a college golf coach.
What I did for fun this past summer: I traveled the country playing golf tournaments and visited places such as the Grand Canyon, and NYC.
Person I would like to play a round of golf with: Adam Scott
" From the beginning, I felt that Annie would be a wonderful fit into our vision for Georgia Southern women's golf. She has a strong and supportive family, and takes her education and her golf game very seriously. Her competitiveness is balanced out by a friendly and thoughtful personality, and I could not be more excited to begin coaching her next month!"
