That's right Virginia, there is no charge for tickets to Friday night's game against North Greenville. Fans can sit anywhere inside Hanner Fieldhouse and explore different seating options before the first home game on November 18th.
PUTTING IN THE MILES
Georgia Southern will travel more than 12,000 miles this season for the program's first season in the Sun Belt Conference. The season total of 12, 283 miles is just 168 miles fewer than half the circumference of the Earth. Last year the Eagles traveled 9,216 miles.
THE COACH
Head Coach Mark Byington enters the 2014-15 season with a 22-23 career record as he opens his second season with the Eagles.
THE WEATHER
Friday's high temperature is set for 66 degrees with an evening low of 39. Fans can expect perfect conditions inside Hanner Fieldhouse with a 0% chance of precipitation and temperatures in the mid-70's.
