Eagles play Crusaders in final preseason tune-up
STATESBORO, Ga. – All tickets are free for Friday night's exhibition against North Greenville. The Eagles will throw open the doors to Hanner Fieldhouse for the 7 p.m. contest against the Crusaders. Friday night's game is the final tune-up before the season opener on November 14th at Illinois.

Georgia Southern will travel more than 12,000 miles this season for the program's first season in the Sun Belt Conference. The season total of 12, 283 miles is just 168 miles fewer than half the circumference of the Earth. Last year the Eagles traveled 9,216 miles.

Head Coach Mark Byington enters the 2014-15 season with a 22-23 career record as he opens his second season with the Eagles.
