Eagles open the campaign on November 14th at Illinois
STATESBORO, GA. – Georgia Southern Men's Basketball returned to the hardwood for the first time as a full team on Friday afternoon. The Eagles practiced for two hours at Hanner Fieldhouse in the first of 22 practices scheduled for the month of October in the buildup to the November 14th season opener at Illinois.
"It was a great start to a long season," said Head Coach Mark Byington. "It was impressed with the leadership of our older guys and the pace that they set for practice. Our young guys picked things up very quickly and worked very hard."
NEWCOMERS
Georgia Southern's 2014-15 roster features nine players who will make their first appearance in the Blue and White this fall.
