STATESBORO, Ga. - The Georgia Southern cross country team will compete for the second-straight weekend at the Disney Cross Country Classic in Florida. The meet, held at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex in Orlando, Fla., will be broadcast on ESPN3.

Karli Koning has been the first Georgia Southern Eagle to cross the finish line in each of the three meets this season. Willett ran a 19:52.33 and led GSU in the Carolina Invitational, while Koning was the first Eagle across the finish line at the USC Open #1 (19:37.52) and the JSU Foothills Invitational (19:01.27).
FIRST YEAR IN SUN BELTGeorgia Southern Athletics became a full member of the Sun Belt Conference officially on July 1, 2014, and the Eagles will compete in the Sun Belt Cross Country Championships on Nov. 11 in Mobile, Ala.
