Saturday Basketball Doubleheader Honors Bulloch County Service Employees

Men’s game starts at 2 p.m., women’s game starts at 4:30 p.m.
STATESBORO, GA. – Georgia Southern Men's and Women's Basketball are both in action on Saturday afternoon at Hanner Fieldhouse for the first doubleheader of 2014. Bulloch County Board of Education Employees as well as Bulloch County Police, Fire and EMS can get tickets for just $1.
The Statesboro High School band will be performing on Saturday at the doubleheader which starts with the Men's game versus Western Carolina at 2 p.m. Coach Vozab's women's basketball team takes the floor at 4:30 p.m. to face UNCG.
There will be another qualifier for the One 11 South/University Village at Southern $7,000 Half Court Shot as well as another edition of the Walker Pharmacy $5,000 shootout during the men's game.
It's also Junior Eagle Club Day, and all JEC members get in for free. The JEC Zone, featuring inflatables from Crazy Nick's, will be in the back Hanner Gym.
One ticket gets fans into both games and fans are encouraged to stay around for the women's game against UNCG. It will be Alumni Day for Georgia Southern Women's Basketball with a halftime ceremony to honor Eagle greats of the past.
