STORY LINES
- Georgia Southern faces Davidson for the 38th time in series history on Saturday night inside Belk Arena.
- Jelani Hewitt enters the Wofford as the No. 1 ranked scorer in the Southern Conference with 20.6 ppg and ranks 19th in scoring nationwide ... He scored 38 points earlier this season against Campbell and has twice been named SoCon Player of the Week ... He has scored in double figures 19 of 20 games this season and has gone over 20 points in scoring for 11 of the 20 games this year ... Hewitt became the 40th member of the 1,000 point club at GS with 18 against Wofford ... Hewitt now has 1,016 career points.
- Hewitt was also named SoCon Player of the Month for November 2013, averaging 24.5 ppg in the opening month of the season.
- Tre Bussey ranks second in scoring for the Eagles with 17.6 ppg ... Bussey also ranks fifth in the SoCon in scoring ... He has scored over 20 points in nine of the 20 games this season and has posted double figure scoring in 18 of 20 games ... He became the 41st member of the 1,000 point club against Wofford with 13 points against Wofford (1-23-14).

- Angel Matias had a career night against South Carolina State with 22 points and nine rebounds ... The junior transfer scored a career-high and posted over 20 points for the first time in his career ... Overall, he leads the Eagles with 7.1 rebounds per game ... He posted his second double-double of the season against Furman.
- Kyle Doyle returned from injury against Samford and scored a career-best 12 points while fouling out against the Bulldogs. The freshman forward went 3-for-5 from the field and 6-of-9 from the free throw line.
