STATESBORO, Ga. – Georgia Southern Men's Soccer closes out a five-game road swing this weekend with a trip to the Asheville Invitational at UNC Asheville. The weekend starts with a 1 p.m. match on Friday afternoon against Radford and concludes on Sunday at 2:30 p.m. against UNC Asheville. Sunday's contest will be available for free on the Big South Network at BigSouthSports.com

The Eagles enter the weekend at 2-3 on the season, finishing third in last weekend's Mercer Invitational. Georgia Southern downed Stetson 3-0 to open the weekend, but fell 1-0 to Mercer in the finale.
Josh Ward and
Neal Bates were both named to the All-Tournament Team while the GSU offense produced its highest output of the season in the weekend opener.
Eric Dinka scored in the win over Stetson to take the team scoring lead with two goals to his name. He is trailed by a gaggle of

Emmanuel Raji with one goal each.
Radford enters Friday's contest at 1-2-1 on the season following a 4-1 loss last Saturday to UMBC. The Highlanders got their lone win of the season on Sept. 10th with a 4-2 thrashing of Appalachian State. In the game against the Mountaineers, Radford got a hat trick from Joe Mayer in the 2013 home opener.
On Sunday, the Eagles face the homestanding UNC Asheville Bulldogs. The home team for this weekend enters the tournament at 2-3-0 on the season with wins over USC Upstate and Brevard College. UNCA is 0-2 this season against the Southern Conference and fell 4-1 to North Florida last Saturday.
Following the weekend's play, Georgia Southern is back at home for six of their next seven contests. The long homestand starts against Presbyterian College on Tuesday, Sept. 24th, at 6 p.m. from Eagle Field in Statesboro. That game can be seen live on GS All-Access from GSEagles.com
