Men's Soccer visits UCF for final preseason tune-up

STATESBORO, Ga. – Georgia Southern Men's Soccer closes out the 2013 preseason on Saturday with a trip to face UCF. Georgia Southern drew North Florida 0-0 last Sunday and takes on the Knights at 7 p.m.
The Eagles were picked third in the SoCon Preseason Poll and had two players, Hunter and Reed Norton, picked to the All-SoCon Preseason Poll. GSU reached the semifinals of the 2012 SoCon Tournament, taking an overtime victory over UNCG to reach the tournament's penultimate round.
Admission for Saturday's game is free at the UCF Soccer & Track Complex.
UCF is taking part in its third preseason exhibition, facing College of Charleston and Jacksonville this week. The Knights took a 3-0 win over Jacksonville their last time out. The team was recently tabbed to finish seventh in the first year of the American Athletic Conference.
Georgia Southern Men's Soccer's 2013 campaign starts on August 30th by hosting the 2013 SoCon/Big South Challenge at Eagle Field. The Eagles play against Winthrop starting at 7:30 p.m.
