Softball Finale at Charleston Washed Out

MT. PLEASANT, S.C. – Georgia Southern Softball’s weekend series finale against Charleston has been abandoned due to monsoon conditions in the Low Country. An attempt to play the series finale was discussed for 4 p.m., but the amount of rain that has fallen in the Charleston area made that option impossible.
The Eagles will settle for a series split with the Cougars and look forward to a midweek contest against Georgia in Athens. That game is set for Wednesday evening at 6 p.m.
