STATESBORO, Ga. - Georgia Southern's Feb. 20 baseball game at Florida will be broadcast on TV throughout the state of Florida and on select satellite providers.
The Eagles' first mid-week game of the season will be carried on Sun Sports/Fox Sports Florida. The contest will be the fourth-straight game against an SEC opponent and the fourth of 9-straight against a BCS foe.
Georgia Southern and Florida have met for the past two seasons and the two schools have split those two meetings. The Eagles held the top-ranked Gators to three hits in a 7-0 win in 2011, while #1 Florida won last year's contest 8-2.
Just a week remains before the season opener against Georgia, and season tickets for GSU's 31 home games are still on sale through the Athletic Ticket Office by calling 1-800-GSU-WINS.
Georgia Southern Athletics provides up-to-date information on all its sports through its official website, GSEagles.com, through social media channels facebook.com/GSAthletics and twitter.com/GSAthletics, and its new "Eagles GATA" mobile app for Android and iOS.
