Women’s Soccer Hosts Winter ID Camp on January 25th

GSU’s first women’s soccer camp of 2014 helps to prepare players for college level soccer

STATESBORO, Ga. – Georgia Southern Women's Soccer hosts its 2014 Winter ID Camp on January 25th, 2014 at Eagle Field on the campus of Georgia Southern University. Players will be put through the same training sessions that 2012 Southern Conference Champion Georgia Southern Women's Soccer players go through. Small and big sided games will provide a good balance of both teaching and evaluating.

For more information or to register, please contact assistant coach Kelly Farrell (kfarrell@georgiasouthern.edu). Click here to view registration documents as well as a schedule of events for the camp. (http://www.gsusocceracademy.com/)

The Winter ID Camp is a one-day camp for players who are in or are entering high school this fall. Junior College student-athletes are also welcome. This is a competitive environment offering simulated college training sessions and the opportunity to experience the GSU campus.

Goalkeepers will also have specialized training sessions for technical work and will rejoin for matches each evening. This is an environment where teams and individuals will benefit and improve.

The 2014 Women's Soccer Camps are open to any and all entrants (limited only by number, age, grade level and/or gender).
