Wofford took the advantage in the 17th minute, when Chloe Brackett scored from fifteen yards out placing the ball into the bottom right of the goal, past Eagle goalkeeper
Molly Williams. Going into the second half, Wofford was leading Georgia Southern 1-0.
With less than a minute left in regulation, WU's Alex Kachulis tallied another goal for the Terriers. A header from a cross kick just inside the six yard box made it into GSU's net at the last minute, securing the Wofford victory 2-0.
The Eagles close out regular season play against Davidson on Wednesday, October 30th at Eagle Field.
