STATESBORO, Ga. - In preparation for the upcoming 2013 baseball season, the Georgia Southern Eagles will host two intrasquad scrimmages at J.I. Clements Stadium this weekend.

Georgia Southern will take the field Friday and Sunday at 4:15 p.m. and 2:30 p.m., respectively. Both scrimmages are open to the public and will provide fans an early season preview of this year's team.

Friday's practice kicks off a stretch of 22 days before the Eagles' first pitch against Georgia on Feb. 15. Season tickets for GSU's 31 home games are still on sale, and tickets are also available for the annual Evening with the All-Stars banquet on January 31^st.
