Curry Named SoCon Runner of the Week

SPARTANBURG, S.C. – Georgia Southern's Sara Curry has been honored as the Southern Conference Women's Runner of the Week for her performance during the weekend of Sept. 21-22, the league office announced today.
The senior was the highest Eagle finisher (14th) at the University of West Georgia Invitational, finishing the 5K course with a time of 19:31.00. Curry paced the Eagles to a fifth-place team finish and has been GSU's top finisher at all four races this season.
Georgia Southern will return to action at The Citadel's Bulldog Invitational this Saturday.
