Men’s Soccer Travels to face No. 15 Wake Forest

STATESBORO, Ga. – Georgia Southern Men’s Soccer continues its road swing on Tuesday afternoon with a trip to Wake Forest. The Eagles face the No. 15 ranked Demon Deacons for the first time since 2002. The match from Winston-Salem’s Spry Stadium starts at 7 p.m.
The Eagles enter Tuesday’s match at 2-4 on the year. Reed Norton and Joe Hughes share the team lead in scoring through the first six games of the season with three goals each. Nick Lane, Seth Prieto and Drew Ruggles also share the lead in assists with two each.
Wake Forest is 3-1-2 on the year with a pair of draws in ACC play. The Deacs shared a 0-0 draw on Friday evening with No. 1 UNC. Sean Okoli and Michael Gamble have two goals each for Wake Forest who has allowed just five goals this year while scoring eight.
The Eagles continue their road swing with a trip to Jacksonville on Saturday evening at 7 p.m.
