Georgia Southern Announces Basketball Radio Schedule

STATESBORO, Ga. – All of the Eagle men's basketball games will be broadcast live on ESPN 102.1 WZAT-FM in Savannah this season, providing coverage from Charleston to Jacksonville, as well as on 103.7 WBMZ-FM, the flagship station of the Georgia Southern Radio Network, in Statesboro, Metter and Swainsboro.
A selection of women's basketball contests will air live on Georgia Southern University's campus station 91.9 The Buzz through a new partnership between Georgia Southern Athletics, The Georgia Southern Radio Network and 91.9 WVGS-FM. Every men's and women's game will stream live on www.GSEagles.com.
Chris Blair, the voice of the Eagles, along with former coach Frank Kerns will handle the play-by-play and analysis for men's games, while Gabriel Quinteros will provide the play-by-play for women's contests.
Both squads open their seasons Friday. The men travel to Valparaiso for an 8:30 p.m. (ET) contest, while the women host Florida Atlantic at 8:30 p.m. in Hanner Fieldhouse.
