Eagles Host Hanner Havoc on Tuesday Night

STATESBORO, Ga. – Fans will get their first chance to meet the 2012-13 Georgia Southern Men’s and Women’s Basketball Teams on Tuesday, October 30th, at Hanner Havoc beginning at 8 p.m. The event, presented by the Student Eagle Club and the Georgia Southern Athletics Foundation, allows fans to meet both the Georgia Southern Men’s and Women’s Basketball teams and see the teams scrimmage.
Georgia Southern Head Basketball coaches Chris Vozab and Charlton “C.Y.” Young will address the crowd. There will be a three-point contest, dunk contest as well as scrimmages for both the Men’s and Women’s teams. The night concludes with both teams signing posters on the floor of Hanner Fieldhouse.
The competition won’t just be for the teams as fans will face-off in a game of fan knockout. With the event taking place just before Halloween, there will be a costume contest for fans.
