Baseball 2011 Summer Camp Dates Set

STATESBORO, Ga. - The Georgia Southern Baseball Program has set its 2011 Summer Camp Dates for July 11th to 17th at J.I. Clements Stadium. The Eagles will host two camps during that period including a kids day camp and an overnight camp.
The kids day camp is open to all childern ages 6-12 and starts on July 11th at 9 a.m. and runs through the 14th. The camp features quality instruction by the Georgia Southern Baseball Coaching Staff and costs $130. Players will have the opportunity expand their baseball skills and benefit from a unique, competitive and challenging atmosphere.
The overnight camp starts on Thursday, July 14th and runs through Sunday, July 17th at J.I. Clements Stadium. The camp, which is open to rising 5th graders through high school seniors, is designed to provide instruction in all aspects of the game and cost $360. Participants will receive instruction in hitting, defense, pitching/catching, baserunning, and strategy. Campers will also participate in live and controlled scrimmaging. Players will have to opportunity expand their baseball skills and benefit from a unique, competitive and challenging atmosphere.
All campers will need to bring all necessary baseball equipment such as: bat, glove, cleats, tennis shoes, catcher's gear (if needed) and will need to fill out the waiver form found on the camp website.
