Basketball Season Tickets Now Available

STATESBORO, Ga. - Season tickets are now on sale for the 2011-12 Georgia Southern Men's and Women's Basketball seasons. Fans can place their orders now for tickets with the Georgia Southern Athletics Ticket Office by calling 1-800-GSU-WINS or online at GeorgiaSouthernEagles.com/Tickets.
Twelve home games, including nine conference tests highlight the 2011-12 men's schedule at Hanner Fieldhouse. The Eagles open league play at home with a pair of December dates, playing host to Chattanooga on Thursday, Dec. 1, at 7 p.m. and Appalachian State on Saturday, Dec. 3rd, at 7 p.m. Season tickets begin at $65 for upper level reserved. There are a limited number of lower level reserved seats available for $120 each.
Opening night for Georgia Southern Men's Basketball is Friday, November 11th against Valparaiso as part of a basketball doubleheader at Hanner Fieldhouse. The Lady Eagles will take on Arizona at 5 p.m., followed by the men's game at 7:30 p.m.
Fans have two opportunities to see a preview of the 2011-12 men's season as the Eagles face Voorhees and Paine College in exhibition games. Georgia Southern faces Voorhees on Thursday, October 27th at 7:00 p.m. and Paine College on Friday, November 4th at 7 p.m. Admission for both preseason games is free.
The Lady Eagles open the 2011-12 campaign against Arizona and Georgia on November 11th and 15th. Head Coach Rusty Cram, in his 16th season, returns 11 players from last year's squad for 15 home dates, including the SoCon opener against Furman on Monday, Dec. 5th. General admission season tickets for the Lady Eagles are $65.
Tickets may be purchased through the Athletics Ticket Office at 1-800-GSU-WINS or online at www.GeorgiaSouthernEagles.com/tickets. The Georgia Southern Athletics Ticket Office located at 203 Lanier Drive in Statesboro is open Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.-5 p.m. and on football Saturdays at 11 a.m.
