Men's Basketball Announces Open Tryout

STATESBORO, Ga. - The Georgia Southern Men's Basketball coaching staff has announced fall tryouts will take place Thursday, August 26 at 6 p.m. Tryouts will be held in Hanner Fieldhouse on the main court.
Each person wishing to try out must be a current, full-time Georgia Southern student and have proof of insurance (Health Insurance through the University will not suffice because it does not cover Athletic Injury) and a physical within the last six months. Please bring a copy of your current class schedule if you want to try out.
Those wishing to tryout will also need to fill out the necessary paperwork in the Athletic Training Room located in Hanner Fieldhouse. Ask to speak with John Erwin, the Men's Basketball Trainer. All the paperwork must be filled out and returned to John by 4 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 24 in order to participate. Erwin can be reached at 912-478-7582.
