Bevillard Named to ESPN The Magazine Academic All-District Second Team

STATESBORO, Ga. - Caroline Bevillard, a member of the Georgia Southern University Swimming and Diving team, has been named to the ESPN The Magazine Academic All-District women's at-large second team for District III. Bevillard, who recently completed her junior year, possesses a cumulative 3.96 grade point average with a major in Sport Management. She holds the University record in the 200-yard Freestyle event and is a member of the University record-holding 200-, 400- and 800-yard Freestyle Relay Teams.
Bevillard was named to the Coastal Collegiate Swimming Association All-Academic Team and was a member of the Eagles team selected as a Scholar All-American team by the College Swimming Coaches Association of America in the fall. Over the previous five semesters, she earned a spot on the University's President's List (4.0 GPA) four times and was a member of the Dean's List (3.5 GPA or better) for one semester. Bevillard was recognized as Georgia Southern's Scholar-Athlete for the 2009-2010 year and was selected by the NCAA to participate in the 2010 Career in Sports Forum held in Indianapolis last week.
