“I'm excited about our incoming class,” said Eagle head coach Kennedy. “With this class, we feel we have addressed our needs, in particular, with the addition of the defenders and goalkeeper. We are excited to get these student-athletes on campus and on the field in the fall.”
The four native Georgians include one forward, one defender, and two midfielders. Hunter Norton (Evans, Ga./Greenbrier) headlines the list of newcomers. Norton, a midfielder with the Augusta Arsenal Premier, was named the 2009 Columbia County Player of the Year after leading his high school team to consecutive Elite Eight appearances in 2008 and 2009. The midfielder is a member of the Georgia ODP Team and Region III ODP Pool.
