SoCon and SportSouth Announce 2010-11 Basketball Television Schedule

SPARTANBURG, S.C. – Georgia Southern fans will have the opportunity to watch both the men's and women's basketball teams on SportSouth this season as the Southern Conference and television network released the 2010-11 basketball television schedule. The schedule features 16 men's and women's games with Georgia Southern appearing on both lists.
The Lady Eagles will be covered first as SportSouth will broadcast a doubleheader at Chattanooga. Georgia Southern will take on the Lady Mocs on December 4 at 3:30 p.m. following the conclusion of a 1 p.m. Chattanooga men's game against Western Carolina.
SportSouth will be on the Georgia Southern campus to cover the February 5 Georgia Southern men's game against Samford. Tipoff is slated for 1 p.m. All 12 of the league's men's basketball programs will make at least one appearance on SportSouth this season.
SportSouth will televise the semifinals of the 2011 Southern Conference Men's Basketball Tournament in Chattanooga. In addition, SportSouth will televise a pair of semifinal matchups as well as the championship game of the SoCon Women's Basketball Tournament, also in Chattanooga.
