Make sure to attend and support this year's Pack the House in Pink Game

This year's Pack the House in Pink event has been set for January 24th when our Lady Eagles take on UNC Greensboro at 3 p.m. and our men's team faces Furman at 7 p.m. Last year was a huge success on all fronts as the women's team set the fourth-largest crowd in school history and the men drew the sixth-largest crowd, the most in over 16 years.
Eagle Sports Marketing won the first Pack the House Challenge Award given by the NCAA. Georgia Southern was one of only 32 schools honored and was the representative for the Southern Conference. In winning the Pack the House Challenge Award, Eagle Sports Marketing was able to donate $500 to the Statesboro Women's Service League which helped coordinate the events and activities. All fans for both games are encouraged to wear pink to show their support for the fight against breast cancer.
This year's activities will include the Annual Hanner Hooligan Tailgate which will take place before the game between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. in the parking lot of Hanner Fieldhouse. Georgia Southern Athletics and Eagle Sports Marketing will once again team up with Colleges against Cancer, Zeta Tau Alpha, Phi Mu, the Statesboro Women's Service League, Delta Tau Delta and Kappa Kappa Gamma.
If you would like to volunteer or make a donation to the Pack the House in Pink event or the Hanner Hooligans Tailgate please call John Ramfjord in Eagle Sports Marketing at 912-478-1500 or email him at jramfjord@georgiasouthern.edu.
