Robyne Siliga Named SoCon Player of the Month

SPARTANBURG, S.C. ? Georgia Southern's Robyne Siliga has been tabbed the Southern Conference's Softball Player of the Month for March.
The junior from Oceanside, Calif. hit .429 with four home runs and 18 RBI last month. She slugged .679, reached base at a .548 clip and scored 13 times with 24 hits and 14 walks.
Siliga became GSU's all-time home run leader March 15 against George Mason, part of a 2-for-3, two-RBI performance. She had nine multi-hit games, including four hits against Bowling Green, and drove in two or more runs five times.
Siliga becomes the first Georgia Southern position player to win the award since Shanita Black in May, 2006.
