Baseball's Season-Opener Postponed

STATESBORO, Ga. ? Georgia Southern's season-opening baseball game against Boston College, set for Friday night at 7 p.m. has been postponed due to rain.
The game will be rescheduled as part of a doubleheader on Saturday (Feb. 23). Game one will begin at the regularly scheduled start time of 2:30 p.m., televised live on CSS and Comcast Sports Net New England. Game two of the doubleheader will start 35 minutes after the conclusion of game one.
Due to the TV broadcast there will be no video streaming on the www.GeorgiaSouthernEagles.com website for both of Saturday’s games. There will be video streaming for Sunday's game.
Due to the men’s basketball game Saturday night, both Georgia Southern baseball games can be heard live on Best Country 94.9 WHKN-FM and on the www.GeorgiaSouthernEagles.com website.
Tickets for Saturday will cover both games of the doubleheader. To purchase tickets call the Georgia Southern ticket office at 800-GSU-WINS or (912) 681-0123. Tickets can also be purchased at the J.I. Clements Stadium ticket booth.
