Boiling Springs, N.C. - The Georgia Southern Swimming and Diving team lost to Gardner-Webb 109-96 Friday Night in Boiling Springs, N.C.
The Lady Eagles (3-2) won the 200 yard medley relay with a time of 1:49.18. They also won the 200 yard freestyle relay with a time of 1:39.00.
Lauren Parr
(Canton, Ohio),
Meredith Fehr (Matthews, N.C.) and
Jordyn Pasely (Knoxville, Tenn.) finished second, third and fourth in the 1000 yard freestyle.
Parr finished with a time of 10:31.01.
Fehr touched the wall with a mark of 10:58.23 and
Pasely finished five seconds behind her with a time of 11:03.48.
Carolina Bevillard (Bishop, Ga.) won the 200 yard freestyle with a time of 1:55.59. She also finished second in the 100 yard freestyle with a time of 53.94.
Courtney Martz (Woodbine, Ga.) finished second in the 50 yard freestyle touching the wall with a time of 24.88.
Parr swam the 200 yard IM with a time of 2:10.89 and finished second behind Rachel Warkentin from Gardner-Webb. Parr also won the 200 yard butterfly with a time of 2:08.06.
Lindsay Goodman (Knoxville, Tenn.) finished third in the 200 yard backstroke with a mark of 2:10.26.
Ali Campbell (Alberta, Canada) placed second in the 500 yard freestyle with a time of 5:10.23.
Ashley White (Charlotte, N.C.) won the 200 yard breaststroke. She touched the wall with a time of 2:28.86.
The Lady Eagles return to action tomorrow at the Georgia Tech Fall Quad.
