Arguably had one of the best spring practices among the offensive linemen... enters fall camp as the starting center after three years serving as back-up to all-conference center Lance Wayne... former walk-on joined the Eagles in the fall of 2003 after a one-year stint at the Navy Preparatory School... will be called upon to help an offensive line that finished first in the nation last year in fewest sacks allowed... JUNIOR (2006): Played in two games (Coastal Carolina and Western Carolina)... saw action in four snaps... had nine positive grades in the Coastal game... SOPHOMORE (2005): Played in 10 games off the bench... saw action in 133 snaps recording 15 knockdown blocks... played 22 snaps with four knockdowns in the win over Chattanooga... 13 plays at Elon... 19 plays versus Western Carolina... 19 plays with four pancakes versus The Citadel... 13 snaps and a knockdown at South Dakota State... season-high 44 plays with five knockdowns against Morehead State...
