High School: Graduate of Ocala Forest High School... Earned four varsity letters in volleyball and one in cross country... Led Wildcats to 24-5 record as a senior and a No. 5 ranking in the state... Totaled 516 kills and 320 digs in her final two seasons... Named to all-area team four times and to Sante Fe All-Tournament team three times... Coached by Jeff Reavis and Jenny Manz-Theis... All-Area runner in cross country.

Personal: Full name is Laura Beth Lancaster... Born Jan. 9, 1989 in Ocala, Fla... Daughter of David and Lisa Lancaster... Lists hobbies as volleyball, fishing, surfing and anything at the lake or beach... Craziest ambition is to be a National Geographic photographer... The three people she would invite to dinner are Gary Larson, her great grandmother and her brother Bo who is a missionary in Slovakia right now... Chose Georgia Southern because of the coaching staff, the campus and Statesboro community... Biggest influence on her life as an athlete is her dad because “he has inspired me to reach for the impossible”.
