2007 Cross Country Schedule Released

STATESBORO, Ga. - The Georgia Southern women's cross country team has announced its 2007 schedule, which opens today at the Gamecock Invitational in Columbia, S.C.
After today's season opener the Eagles will travel to Charleston, S.C. on Friday, September 7, hosted by the College of Charleston and The Citadel.
Georgia Southern runners will perform twice more in September running on Saturday, September 22 at the Bulldog Stampede in Athens, Ga. Followed up by the Auburn Invitational on Saturday, September 29 in Auburn, Ala. Last season, three Eagles returnees posted personal bests at the Auburn Invitational with senior Abby Bloom (Snellville, Ga) finishing with a time of 18:48.06, while sophomore teammates Laura Fuller (Cartersville, Ga) and Kellie Wesson (Douglasville, Ga) recorded times of 19:15.10 and 20:58.93 respectively.
The Eagles head to the Beaufort Invitational in Beaufort, S.C. on Saturday, October 6. Georgia Southern makes a trip to Greenville, S.C. on Saturday, October 13 to compete in the Furman Invitational, before heading to Cullowhee, N.C. Saturday, October 27 for the SoCon Championships.
The Eagles finish the season on Saturday, November 10 at the South Region Championships in Louisville, Ky.
