Men's Basketball Moves up Two Spots to No. 18 in Mid Major Poll

STATESBORO, Ga. --- The Georgia Southern men’s basketball team has moved up two spots in the most recent edition of the CollegeInsider.com Mid-Major poll released this week.
The Eagles now occupy the No. 18 position, the highest among all Southern Conference teams.
Georgia Southern has won seven straight games after defeating Fort Valley State 93-73 Monday. The team’s winning streak is the program’s longest before January since 1950.
St. Mary’s (Calif.) holds the top spot in the poll, followed by Gonzaga and Butler.
Davidson, a member of the SoCon, dropped from No. 8 to No. 22.
