Men's Basketball Games Picked for Television

STATESBORO, Ga. --- Four Georgia Southern men’s basketball games will be televised this season it was announced by the University and the Southern Conference.
Two of Georgia Southern’s trips to the state of Florida can be seen, including the season-opener at Florida State. The Nov. 12 clash with the Seminoles is set for 9 p.m. on Fox Sports Net Florida.
Two of GSU’s games are a part of the SoCon’s package with SportSouth. The Eagles kick off the league’s television schedule on Dec. 1 when they host defending SoCon North champion and NIT participant Appalachian State at 3 p.m.
The Eagles return to the Sunshine State on Dec. 15 with a game against the two-time defending national champion Florida Gators. The 3 p.m. matchup will be seen on SportSouth and Fox Sports Net Florida.
The team’s final regularly-scheduled TV appearance is Jan. 5 at UNC Greensboro on SportSouth. Tip-off is set for 3 p.m.
SportSouth will televise the semifinal rounds of the Southern Conference Tournament and the championship will be live on ESPN2.
