Responsibilities:
Oversees and provides leadership for the newly created Athlete Brand Management task force, focused on NCAA Name, Image and Likeness (NIL) legislation, and develops overall brand building and NIL educational curriculum for student-athletes. Leads the University’s trademark and licensing program, and supports the University's brand marketing initiatives.

Background: 
Amy’s career in higher education began in 2006 at the Colorado State University Bookstore where she served as the customer service manager, apparel and gift buyer, and assistant director. During her time at CSU, she worked with Athletics to launch a vault logo program, assisted with design and installation of an UnderArmour concept shop, and collaborated with the Alumni Association to open a CSU fan shop in the downtown Denver Alumni Center. Amy also worked closely with the Department of Design and Merchandising to create educational opportunities for students, from guest lectures to student internships and buying positions within the store. Additionally, while completing her master’s degree at CSU, Amy taught courses in merchandising, retailing, apparel and textile economics, and retail math. 

In 2014, Amy became a lecturer at Washington State University in the Department of Apparel, Merchandising, Design and Textiles. She was responsible for teaching merchandising, marketing, branding, trademark licensing, retailing, fashion show production, and historic costume. She worked with student teaching assistants, and led student study tours in New York City and Los Angeles. Additionally, she served as the manager for the officially licensed tartan program.

After moving to Statesboro in 2018, Amy began working as a marketing specialist and trademark licensing coordinator for University Communications and Marketing. In 2022, the trademark licensing program was officially moved from UCM to Athletics, and Amy assumed her new role as the director of athlete brand management and university licensing in the fall of 2022.

Personal:
Amy and her husband JT have five children (Justin, Madysen, Brynn, Ethan and Annika), two dogs and two cats (Zeppelin, Zoey, Evie, and Tsuki), and live in Statesboro.Â
